Monkey Head Pins!!

Just made five little monkey heads...with pins on the back. They look pretty sweet on my jacket and on my beret. I just love making monkey heads...

 

 

 

 

Tiny Green Retro Bunny

This little guy, inspired by M.R. I've been wanting to do him for a while...and he turned out really well I think...I got a chance to use these plastic retro looking eyes, but I hand embellished them with blue nail polish.

Miss Page is petting her sweet little grey kitten, but not for long...he will be mailed away in the morning!

Humpty Dumpty Sat on a Spool

I've been wanting to try a Humpty Dumpty for ever..and have this small collection of antique bisque doll arms and legs, which I thought might be fun to incorporate into a felted piece. I had no appropriate legs, but the arms are sort of fun...

Blackie the Mad Cat

I finally decided what to do with this black curly mohair I've had for a long time. I'm in Halloween mode, and made this scowly puss...he's got the mohair body, and a needle felted wool face. I used some over-dyed wool in his ears, and some really pretty green glass taxidermy cat eyes. Linen string for whiskers.

I find it so hard to take pics of a black critter! He is so much prettier in person!

Busy Makin Mouses!

Just finished up three critters this weekend from my tiny mouse pattern...but one is bat...

And here is little Opie...I dyed some beige mohair in orange Koolaid and it's exactly the color of Opie Taylor's hair!

And last but certainly not least...a little Baby BAT for Halloween!
